The Pipe Band was originally formed by Dr. Charlie Elliot of Pomona and Don Drysdale of Tewantin, to play parade music for Anzac Day marches in the late 1980’s.

Since then the band has become incorporated and now provides a community service by entertaining the public at events throughout the Sunshine Coast.

The band is available for hire for functions and also provides pipers, at a modest charge, for weddings, funerals and private functions.

We are always looking for new members and can help with tuition in piping and drumming. We are currently looking for a base drummer and a Drum Major. Interested? give us a ring or email Mike.

The band practices at the Pirates League Football Ground, Cooroy on Wednesday evenings at 6.00 pm and Sunday mornings at 10.00 am.
